Woke up very early this morning as we had planned to visit a number of places today. We had breakfast at the hotel, then set off for our first destination – 陽明山.
Fit & Ready for the day!
Took bus number 230 from 北投公園. After the bus ride, we took a super long walk along one of the hiking trails. Not quite sure if it is the Tianmu Trail 天æ¯å¤é“. I was freezing all the way and had to cover my face from the wind. Lucky I bought a thick winter clothing and gloves from Shilin Night Market last night.
It was so cold that I could see my breath (kinda like a “steam” effect) while talking. Breathing out!
While climbing up the flight of stairs, JR spotted a shoe sole. Hmm, I didn’t recall seeing it (I was walking in front). Suddenly, I realized it was mine! Of course I couldn’t have seen it. Carried on with the long walk without the sole.
More photos!
Look at what she is wearing! Doesn’t she feel cold?
We took bus Red 5 from the park to the MRT station. Decides to go Ximending西門町. Once there, we went shoe hunting. Bought a pair of boots.
Tamshui Fisherman’s Wharf æ·¡æ°´æ¼äººç¢¼é
After our short stay at Ximending, we proceed to the Fisherman’s Wharf, a scenic spot while known for its beautiful sunset and fresh seafood. And similarly, it was cooooooooooold!!!
Lover bridge of Tamsui, a white-coloured cable-stayed bridge.
This bridge approximately 196 meters long (according to wikipedia).
Fishing Boat Wharf: with anchorage for up to 150 fishing boats
Shilin Night Market 士林夜市 (again)
JR bought a winter jacket. He couldn’t stand the cold already.
Modern Toilet Diner 便所主题é¤åŽ…
Walked past this restaurant. Had seen its introduction on a TV programme before.
Pets Street 寵物街
My favourite street in Shilin Night Market.
