We started talking about it in July, right after our trip to Batam! Holidays are never enough…
Yee Sze started to ballot for her company’s villa in Bintan Lagoon Resort and we got it for the block period 16 Oct 08 – 20 Oct 08 at $240. Yes, only $240, $80 per couple. What a good deal! Much cheaper than our Batam trip.
Our Villa – Buganvil Villa

So many preparations for the short trip. Heard that everything is expensive in Bintan, all charges are in Singapore dollars instead of Indonesia Rupiah! Hence we decided to prepare and settle our meals ourselves.

3. Groceries Arrangement
We ordered eggs, charcoal and ice cubes from the resort. These items are difficult to bring over.

6. BBQ Preparation
We met at Suntec City to shop for the BBQ items this evening. Bought quite alot from Carrefour but we didnt find any marinated food there. We drove over to Sheng Siong supermarket just in time before it closes. No marinated food also. Is Giant the only one providing marinated food? Too late to rush over to Giant then. Maybe JR, FY & Sharon can get them tomorrow from BBQ Wholesale.
I was extremely tired by the time we reached home. We spent the next hour packing our luggage. My throat is so itchy that I kept coughing. Hope I will feel better by tomorrow.
