06:15 PM (BT) We made our way back to our villa after the swim. I was already feeling exhausted and hungry.
“Snack” before our Fireflies tour.
All 6 of us squeeze onto our little buggy and gathered at the Activities Counter (@ Hotel lobby) for the fireflies tour. We were picked up and “delivered” to the Bintan Mangrove.

It was our first time to the fireflies tour. YS² had joined the same tour during their visit here 2 weeks ago.

All of us were required to wear a life vest.

It was time for us to get onto the boat. The boat can take up to 12 people per trip. I heard Yee Sze pulling Yusin back, telling him wait. JR was at the front hence we were the first two to get onto the boat. The rest were the last few to get onto the boat, therefore getting the front seats in the boat.

We couldn’t really hear what the tour guide was saying as the engine at the back was too noisy. The tour was quite alright but both JR & I think that there were too little fireflies than what we had expected.

Back to our Villa – BBQ 22:00 PM (BT)
We were sent back to the resort after the Fireflies tour. The ferry ticket counter was already closed by then and we had no choice but to confirm the timing for the return ferry to Singapore tomorrow. Should have done it earlier.
Time for dinner!
Ordered 3 extra spring chickens from the resort – S$7 each!
JR chopped ours into halves.
Couldn’t finish our spring chicken. Shred the remaining chicken into pieces.
Yusin’s spring chicken
Haha.. Yusin stopped JR from chopping his chicken into two initially. He had wanted to grill it as a whole. But after looking at the chicken, he also chopped his into halves.
Everybody was tired after all the activities and swimming for the day. FY even fell asleep in the living room during the BBQ session. YS² retired to their rooms quite early too. Only Sharon, JR & I stayed up to watch TV to almost 2 AM (BT).
