This was our first time skiing. We went up the chairlift once we got into the ski area, not knowing what was ahead of us. We chosen the the Edelweiss trail – for beginners. We took a very long time down the course, falling countless of times. Regretted not taking any photos or videos of JR falling down. After we got down, we saw people practicing the way to stop. We then realized that we were very daring to proceed with the trail without any practice! We gave up with the trails and spent the time practicing and playing with the snow.

We realized that the Gala package includes the tickets from Shinjuku to Tokyo Station. Wasted our 380 Yen this morning. Walked to Takashimaya but it was already closed. Went into a random restaurant for dinner.
The food display outside drew us into the restaurant.
Caught the 9:20 PM bus back to the hotel but we went out again to get our water from the nearest convenient store, Seirindo.
