It’s my turn to celebrate mine!
New Kate Spade wristlet bought during my 2009 USA trip. First time using.
On our way to my mummy’s house.
Left mummy’s house and we have to head for the Airport to pick JR’s mum & JZ.
Went ECP to take some photos since it was still early. XX had to be left at home as she is not allowed to be at the airport.
First time at Budget Terminal. We picked up JR’s mum & JZ, dropped them off at home and proceed with our dinner plan.
It’s our first time at Morton’s The Steakhouse. Betty heard that there is a promotion at the restaurant (<$100 for 2). We were unable to find the promotion at Morton’s website but found another one, $95 per pax instead.
We were brought to our table, which was decorated with confetti – I guess it was decorated because JR had told them it was a birthday celebration. Not long after we were seated, a waitress pushed a trolley full of raw food over to our table and began introducing the different ingredients that they have, the type & parts of a cow, the types of seafood, etc. She also told us that the portion of the $95 per pax promotion set dinner is quite large and we could consider sharing it and suggested that we upgrade the size of the beef. So, the promotion Betty was talking about was this…something not written in words on the website :).
A giant Moet bottle behind us.
First appetizer – Bread with butter. No idea what’s the name of the bread but it was very good, tasted like onions.
Morton’s Salad
The kitchen had split up everything into 2 portions. This is ½ of the actual size of the Morton’s Salad.
I was already ½ full when I finished my salad.
Jumbo Lump Crab Cake
This is extremely delicious! The whole “cake” is made of chunks of crab meat.. yummy!
Creamed Spinach
Very creamy and rich. Feel very sinful after eating it. We didn’t manage to finish the whole bowl.
New York Strip Steak
Look how thick the steak is! This is the smaller piece. JR got a bigger piece.
Bloody… I won’t want to have steak anywhere else other than Morton now.
Mustard to go with the steak.
Morton’s Legendary Hot Chocolate Cake
The staff at Morton’s sang a birthday song to me with that little candle. The dessert was free because it’s my birthday!
Another small birthday gift from Morton’s.
Happy Birthday to me!
