Celebrating our 3rd anniversary at Au Petit Salut. It’s our 1st visit to this French restaurant. The place was quite empty when we arrived.

What should we have?

Me!

Empty table behind us.

Table deco…

Lobster bisque with lobster ravioli and tarragon

An empty bowl with only a ravioli was served to us and the waitress poured the lobster bisque into the bowl in front of us. The few drops of truffle oil gave the soup a wonderful aroma. The soup was delicious, smooth and creamy but the ravioli was slightly disappointing. The ravioli tasted like a thick skin dumpling with little filling…

One of the starters… forgot the name.

Pan seared duck foie gras with apple purée, Arugula and walnuts, Maury reduction

♥♥♥ Foie Gras

We observed that there were bread & butter served at every table. We got ours after requesting for them. It was then we realised that the restaurant forgot to serve us our bread & butter… 🙁

Something to eat while waiting for our next dish.

Crispy French duck leg confit, sautéed potatoe

Seared cod fish fillet with stewed fava and lingot beans, sautéed Girolles, chicken jus

Selection of matured French farm cheeses served with walnut bread

What a lovely and expensive dinner…
