15:15 PM Baosteel
We had our 2nd company visit today. We were first brought to Baosteel Hotel for briefing and later brought on a tour around Baosteel Steel Industry. The entire Baosteel industry is 25 square KM which is larger than Macau!
Next, we were brought to the steel making belt where we witnessed hot steel being flattened and cooled. Baosteel’s steel is used to make China’s RMB1 coins and even coke cans.
We were required to wear the safety helmet before entering the steel factory.
It was extremely warm in the factory.
We left Baosteel at almost 5 PM. Our bus was caught in a bad jam and only arrived back at the hotel at 6 PM. We went up to our rooms to wash up before meeting Robin for dinner.

Robin had done some “homework” the night before and so it was Robin’s turn to bring us out for dinner. We took the metro to å—京西路 Nanjing West Road. There was a long queue outside the restaurant. The only difficulty was to find seats in the super crowded and small restaurant.
Super delicious! There was so much soup in the bun that it kept splitting out of the bun.

Next up, 麻辣烫, which is just located next to å°æ¨ç”Ÿç…Ž . The same problem again. We had difficulty finding seats!
We finally found 3 seats together and waited for our bowl of 麻辣烫. Quite delicious but not extremely special.
21:05 PM é™å®‰å¯º
After dinner, we left å—京西路 Nanjing West Road and walked slowly to 汉城. We were surprised when we arrived there. We were there on Day 2! We didn’t know that the building had changed its name. We were trying to find it the other day and even took a cab just outside the building since we couldn’t find the place. There were much more stuff to see as compared to the Fake Market @ Shanghai Science & Technology Museum. JR bought a headphone at RMB200. The initial selling price was RMB480 but we bargained and got it at a much lower price. We left 汉城 and decided to walk to é™å®‰å¯º, asking for directions along the way. The locals told us that we need to walk about 20 minutes to get there. Hmm, 20 minutes sounded alright to us. We walked… and walked… stopped by a local delicacies store to grab something. We checked with another group of locals to check if we were in the right track. We were correct but we still need to walk quite far, about 1 bus stop away… We were almost there, so we continued walking. We finally reached é™å®‰å¯º after 48 minutes of walking.
It was closed! The temple closed at 5 PM. So disappointing to find it closed after all the effort we took to walk there. We took some photos and walked around the area.
21:15 PM Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf
Taking a short break at Coffee Bean.
Tiramisu Cheesecake
Ice blended drink
We realised that they had served us the wrong cake after taking photos. This was what we ordered – Oreo Cheesecake.
We took the metro back to hotel from é™å®‰å¯º station. While walking out of the Tong Ji University station, we heard the announcement that the last train of the day had left the station. We had just taken the last train!
