Shanghai Day 08 (I) – 周庄 (I)

It was our last day in Shanghai! We decided to join the 1 day 周庄 tour.

11:50 AM 人民广场大剧院门口

The 周庄 tour coach picked us up from 人民广场大剧院门口 .

We were the only foreigners among the Chinese!

13:20 PM 吴中区角直景点 Wuzhong Luzhi Ancient Town

路边小吃. We were disgusted with the dozens of flies around the small stall.

15:10 PM 江南丝博

16:00 PM 周庄

At last, we were at 周庄.

周庄 is located southeast of Suzhou City and to the Southwest of Kunshan. The ancient town has a history of more than 900 years. 周庄 is surrounded and divided by lakes and rivers, with 14 stone bridges crossing the rivers.

双桥 The Double Bridge is one of the most famous attractions at 周庄.
