Date: 04 July 2012 Wednesday
06:55 AM Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 3
We arrived at the airport really early in the morning to catch the earliest SQ flight to Seoul.
JR’s spicy breakfast.
My breakfast set – Butter & Kaya bread, Half-boiled eggs and Tea.
08:05 AM On Board SQ600
The flight was not full and we were given the seats in the first row in Y class.
Having our breakfast again – Western breakfast.
Pan roasted chicken with mushroom onion sauce, seasonal vegetables and rosemary garlic potatoes.
16:30 PM Leaving Incheon International Airport (ICN)
We arrived at Incheon International Airport (ICN) at about 15:30 PM. We took quite a while to clear customs due to the long queue. Some of JR’s colleagues were on the same flight as us. One of them had arranged for airport transfer to the hotel and all of us tagged along with her.
17:40 PM JW Marriott Hotel Seoul
We arrived at the hotel after a long ride. We were given a room on the high floor facing the river as requested by JR.
We love the big room.
The river view
I love the rose bathing salt that the hotel provide.
Leaving the hotel.
18:20 PM Myeong-Dong
We were supposed to meet JR’s mum & JZ at 7 PM and we were early by an hour.
I didn’t realise that there’s a foot statue at Myeong-Dong.
18:25 PM Cafe Bene
We decided to chili out at Cafe Bene while waiting.
Blueberry Ice-cream Waffle
Yummy!
The dog cafe mascot is calling me!
19:15 PM Dinner @ Yoogane
We met up with JR’s mum & JZ and headed for dinner.
The cheese
What’s cooking?
Throw in the rice & cheese.
The staff didn’t seem to fully understand what we ordered. Nevertheless, we got what we wanted and got our stomachs satisfied.
22:00 PM Cafe Bene
We tried to find O’sulloc, a tea house famous for its green tea products. I had its address with me but we couldn’t locate it. We gave up and went to the tourism information centre for assistance. O’sulloc was under renovation! What a disappointment. We did some shopping at Uniqlo before going back to Cafe Bene for desserts and drinks.
Our ice…
It is bigger than JR’s face… 🙂
