Date: 12 January 2013 Saturday

The Coastal Settlement (TCS) is hidden somewhere in the east, near to Changi Village and ALH. I had been to TCS once before in Mar 2012, for WC’s farewell lunch with the other SPs. JR finally agreed to bring me here again this Saturday. This place is very inaccessible for those who do not drive.

Welcome

Many love TCS because of the lovely atmosphere and the uniqueness of the restaurant’s interior.

Old school biscuits and we can help ourselves to them…

The restaurant is decorated with lots of vintage items.

We didn’t made any reservations so we were seated at the bar counter.

Truffle Mushroom Fettuccine

Chargrilled Wagyu Beef & Mushroom Pizza

Wagyu Beef, Sauteed Mushrooms, Caramelized Onions, White Wine Reduction Cream Sauce, Mozzarella & Cheddar.

Huge chunks of beef and mushrooms on the pizza.

Time to dig in!

We only ordered 2 items to share but were struggling to finish the food. The generous toppings on the pizza and thick cream sauce made us a little sick after having too much.  Food is nice but is slightly expensive. TCS is definitely worth visiting and is a nice place to hang out with family / friends.
