Our California Trip 2015 Day 05

San Diego Zoo Safari Park

Our first stop for the day was San Diego Zoo Safari Park, previously known as the San Diego Wild Animal Park when we visited it in 2009. It is one of the largest attractions in San Diego.

Reading the map like an expert.

Queuing up for the Africa Tram tour, to see the wildlife from different parts of Africa.

Had quick and simple lunch.

Cooling ourselves with Ben & Jerry ice cream after a long and warm day at the zoo.

Denny’s

Had dinner at Denny’s, one of our favourite American’s diners. However, this might be my last time that I would chose Denny’s as the dining experience was so different from the last time we visited one.

The diner was very empty and smelt like they just used strong detergent/chlorine to clean the place.

Food was acceptable but not fantastic. May give it a miss in future if we were to visit USA again.
